Who runs MENTARI Bintulu?

MENTARI Bintulu is run mainly by the Psychiatry Department from Hospital Bintulu. Over the years, there have been other organizations, companies and volunteers who have helped us in our mission.

I feel suicidal / in severe distress / having a severe mental health crisis. What should I do?

You can directly go to either the Emergency Department at the nearest hospital or Klinik Kesihatan. No appointments are needed and you will be referred to the psychiatry team if needed. Please also read our crisis support page.

Do you offer mental health screening?

Yes, we do this through our Buddy Talk program which you can read more about here. In cases of emergency or severe crisis, we advise not to wait and go to either the Emergency Department at the nearest hospital or Klinik Kesihatan.
